Keyless cars theft warning
KEYLESS cars are twice as likely to be stolen, an insurer has warned.
Aviva says drivers of keyless vehicles have double the chance of making a claim.
The firm’s Alec Reeder said: “While vehicle security has improved, unfortunately criminal activity is evolving too.
“We’d encourage people to take extra precautions.
“Mechanical devices – such as a steering wheel or foot pedal lock – can be a useful visible deterrent.”
