Man arrested over death of boxing coach
DETECTIVES probing the murder of a young dad have made an arrest.
Reece Newcombe, 31, was stabbed in the early hours of Saturday.
A 32-year-old man went to a police station yesterday and was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Mr Newcombe, from Egham, Surrey, worked as a boxing trainer to stars including Ian Wright.
An online appeal for funds for his baby daughter has already raised more than £50,000.
He was stabbed with a shard of glass on Richmond Bridge in South West London. Detectives believe a number of people filmed it on their phones.
Police said: “Anyone who has yet to speak with us is urged to come forward immediately.”
