FREDDIE AND JASON: TWO MEN IN A TENT

It’s only a weekend camping in Wales, but for comedian Jason Manford, it’s his idea of hell.

“I like a bed, shower, walls…” he says, preferring to be camped out on a sofa with a takeaway.

In this lads-on-tour one-off, he wants to head out of his comfort zone so joins former cricketer and broadcaster Freddie Flintoff for an adventure in Snowdonia.

Freddie says: “I love getting back to basics, living off the land and sleeping under the stars, but Jason is far from happy.”

That doesn’t stop him pushing

Jason to his limit with some classic extreme wilderness experiences.

They will camp on a cliff ledge, suspended 20 metres above the sea, catch their own lobsters, herd sheep, forage for vegetables, go wild swimming in freezing water, and eventually climb Mount Snowdon.

Expect the usual comedy banter, the odd man-to-man chat as they enjoy each other’s company, and some concerning campfire cooking.
