Health Dept’s graph ‘gaslighting’

THE Department of Health has been rapped over a “misleading” graph that exaggerated increases in nurses’ pay.

Minister Andrew Gwynne raised concerns. UK Statistics Authority boss Sir Robert Chote has now condemned the chart’s “poor and misleading representation” of the data – which “risks damaging public confidence” in official stats. Mr Gwynne said: “The Tories have been caught red-handed using official Government propaganda to gaslight nurses.”
