Miliband now thinking of a return as MP
DAVID Miliband has indicated he is thinking of a political comeback.
Asked on LBC radio whether he would stand as an MP again, the former Foreign Secretary said: “That’s not been decided.”
Miliband, beaten by brother Ed in the 2010 Labour leadership election, has also blasted the Tories’ record in power.
He told think-tank Chatham House that Britain’s influence abroad has been “badly tarnished”.
Now head of charity the International Rescue Committee in New York, Miliband said yesterday: “Governments responded well to the Ukraine crisis.
“But it is hard to think of other areas where we have earned credit... many where we’ve invited scorn.”
