Some Like It Hot.. Mariah Carey does
Singer Mariah Carey is producing a stage adaptation of Some Like It Hot, in honour of her idol, Marilyn Monroe, who starred in the 1959 film.
“She’s been an important touchstone throughout my life,” explains Mariah. “So much so that I acquired her treasured baby grand white piano at an auction.”
She paid over $500,000 for it, so fingers crossed the Broadway show can recoup some of that.
