Third crypto chief dies in freak crash
RUSSIAN Vyacheslav Taran is the third cryptocurrency executive to die unexpectedly in the past few weeks.
The financier, 53, who died in a mysterious chopper crash had links to Moscow’s foreign intelligence, a Ukrainian news agency claimed.
Citing no proof, the report alleged he was “laundering Russian funds through a system of cryptocurrency operations”.
The founder of Forex Club and Libertex, Taran was flying from Switzerland to his home in Monaco when the helicopter crashed in France, also killing the pilot, 30.
Crypocurrency chiefs Tiantian Kullander, 30, died “in his sleep” last week while Nikolai Mushegian, 29, drowned off a beach.
