Tot baptised in font made of.. toy Lego

- BY MICHAEL WILK

A CHURCH has held a baptism using a font made out of plastic toy Lego bricks.

Michelle Farrelly and husband Angus decided to have their two-month-old son Oliver baptised at the special event.

All Saints’ in Okehampton, Devon, has been running its “Lego Church” sessions for over a year.

Families are encouraged to take their children along and play and join in bible and prayer sessions.

Rev Prebendary Stephen Cook said: “Most of our regular Lego Church people are not churchgoers and we are engaging with a broad range of parents, carers and children.

“The timing and accessibility has proved a winning combination. Everybody loves Lego.”
