THE FLATSHARE
You might think there are no more ways to write a will-they-won’t-they romcom. Think again.
This completely daft premise is a unique and irresistible take on a classic that will reel you right in.
Downton Abbey’s Jessica Brown Findlay plays Tiffany.
She’s just been dumped by her moronic boyfriend who is now dating a beautiful influencer.
She works as a junior writer at an online magazine called Bother, where she barely earns anything.
Leon (Brassic actor Anthony Welsh) is a puppy dog-eyed hospice care worker, trying to earn money to get his innocent brother out of jail.
The stupid part is that they are sharing a flat – and a bed – but have never met.
She sleeps there from 8pm to 8am, then must leave before Leon arrives home after his night shift.
No crossover allowed and they communicate via Post-it notes.
It’s all beautifully predictable. There’s sabotage, misunderstanding and a desperate need for these two people to get together…
