Kate will need all our support

- Rosemary Wilson, Doncaster

FROM personal experience with family and friends, I am aware how serious illness can be brought on by stress.

Now we hear the Princess of Wales is receiving treatment for cancer, and she has certainly had to cope with family upsets in recent years. As has King Charles who has also been diagnosed with cancer, and so soon after losing his father and mother.

We can only wish Catherine and the King the very best in their battle for better health. They deserve our sympathy and support. Paul Marston

Like everyone, I’m saddened that Princess Kate has cancer – and at the age of 42. Medical experts say cancer rates in the under 50s have risen greatly in recent years and that nearly half the UK population will suffer cancer during their life.

These are very worrying statistics. The authorities urgently need to look further into why this is the case, including toxic chemicals, pollution of our air, food or water supply, and the everincreasing plastic particles in our

environment.

In this time of great sadness, our nation stands united. The devastating news that the Princess of Wales, our future queen, has been diagnosed with cancer has left us all heartbroken.

Catherine is more than just a royal. She is a mother, wife, daughter and sister. She is one of us. Through her tire

less charity work and her effortless ability to connect with people from all walks of life, she has earned a place in all of our hearts.

Now it is our turn to be there for Catherine. To offer her and her family our love, our prayers and our unwavering support. Let us pray for a speedy recovery for this remarkable woman who means so much to so many people.

I am shocked and saddened that the Princess of Wales has cancer, as the rest of the nation is. But even if she is our future queen, she still has the right to privacy.

The Royal Family have had a lot to deal with recently as well as King Charles’ own diagnosis. If anything, this shows the Royals are human and face issues like the rest of us.

I think we should now leave Kate and William be while she recovers and gets treatment.

I was very sad to hear the news that Kate has cancer and hope the world’s media takes on board what

she asked for – that her family is left in peace and she gets the time she needs to undergo her treatment and recover.

Hopefully the media in this country will set a good example, giving space and support.

The shameful reaction of some people in this country concerning Princess Kate over the editing of her photograph with her children was really disgraceful.

She has been through so much with her operation and does not need any chastising.

Shame on you all. We should be showing our love for her and her young family. Leave her alone.

What sad news about the Princess of Wales.

After weeks of ridiculous speculations, to hear she was secretly battling cancer was devastating. Shame on all those who mocked her.

Get well soon, Kate.
