Sex assault OAP is jailed
A CHELSEA Pensioner has been jailed for a year for sexually assaulting a drunk woman in his room.
Patrick Teegan, 72, was in his scarlet uniform when he met his victim, in her 20s, in a bar after last year’s Chelsea Flower Show.
A jury heard the ex-soldier told worried staff he would “look after” her. She said she made “no conscious decision” to go back with him.
Jailing Teegan – kicked out of the Royal Hospital – a judge at Isleworth crown court noted he was “not in any way remorseful”.

Efrain Rodriguez, a “prophet” from Puerto Rico, predicts the space rock will hurtle towards Earth and hit the Caribbean between September 21 and 28.
He told his followers he had a vision of the object “entering the airspace of the town of Arecibo in Puerto Rico, striking the sea between the island of Mona and Mayaguez and triggering a magnitude 12 earthquake”.
But there is no need to panic about the end of days just yet, because space agency Nasa has seen his evidence and quickly dismissed it as rubbish.
Paul Chodas, from the Near- Earth Object Program, said: “There is no existing evidence that an asteroid or any other celestial object is on a trajectory that will impact Earth.
“In fact, not a single one of the known objects has any credible chance of hitting our planet over the next century.”
He added: “There is no scientific basis, not one shred of evidence, that an asteroid or any other celestial object will impact Earth on those dates.”
Rodriguez, however, is urging everyone to seek salvation in Jesus. His prediction is linked to the Blood Moon Prophecy. It forecasts disaster based on biblical interpretation of a series of four lunar eclipses, which started in April last year and will end on September 27 this year.

rays from the sun.
