Jail wedding for knife killer

A MURDERER who slit his ex’s throat has married his new love in prison.

David Ferguson, 45, wed Carol Nash at maximum security HMP Wakefield – with flowers and a buffet for five guests. The pair met in 2009 as penpals.

A Ministry of Justice spokesman said Monday’s ceremony would have taken place at “no additional cost to the taxpayer”.

Ferguson, of Chatham, Kent, was found guilty in 2000 of murdering Susan Kent, 33, and jailed for life with a 20 year minimum.
