KANE: I’LL KLOPP YOUR BUBBLE

- BY Chief Sports Writer david.kidd@trinitymirror.com

HARRY KANE is ready to puncture Liverpool’s bubble of hysteria – and claims Tottenham can fly under the radar to make the Champions League.

Jurgen Klopp takes the Reds to White Hart Lane on Saturday for his first match in charge. But while Anfield is consumed by hype, Kane says Spurs are mounting a quiet bid for the top four after a seven-match Premier League unbeaten run.

And he believes the dynamic, hard- running style of Mauricio Pochettino’s young team can catch Klopp’s boys off guard – even if the visitors do raise their game for the new German boss.

Kane said: “Nobody is talking about us for the top four and that’s probably a good thing. We haven’t lost in the league since the first game of the season. We have had a few draws where we should have won as well. But we are playing well and doing the right things.

“We have a fit young squad and we are training hard. We are happy to stay under the radar and keep putting in good performances.

“It’s very open. I think that’s the standard of the Premier League – anyone can beat anyone.

“We have outrun every team we have played this season. That is a sign we are playing the manager’s tactics right and are fit enough to do it. So it is a case of doing it again on Saturday against Liverpool.

“In the first couple of games everybody tries to impress a new manager so they will probably have that little five per cent extra. We expect that.

“The Liverpool players at England could not wait to get back to start working under Klopp. But I am focused on Tottenham and what we have to do.” Kane has urged his Spurs team-mate Dele Alli to win a place on the plane to next summer’s mer’s Euro finals in France after the 19-year-old 9-year-old won his first two England nd caps as Roy Hodgson’s men completed leted their 100 per cent qualificationon record against Estonia and Lithuania.uania.

The Spurs striker said:id: “Dele’s done well, but I never er doubted him. He has just got to keep playing well for Tottenham and try to impress to get into the nextext squad.

“That has got to be his aim. There will be a lot of competitionn for places before France, so he has got to keep his head down and maintain intain his form for the rest of the season.”eason.”

Kane was denied a fourthth England goal when his strike was credited as an own goal in Monday’s 3-0 win.

He added: “That was a scandal! I was unlucky not to scoree officially. But we have won 10 out of 10 and the confidence is sky high.” h.”
