Tinseltown ticket for Theo

-

Alesha Dixon thinks musicians who moan about streaming services need to move on. The BGT judge, 37, says: “We’re going through a ttransitional period. Years ago, 200 million pepeople were buying albums. That is not hahappening any more. It is a sign of the times. We have to move forward. If you can’t beat something, join it.” And Alesha has done just that by becoming a curator of streaming project Electric Jukebox, which is backed by Robbie Williams

and costs £180 a year. Aesthetically blessed Hurts singer Theo Hutchcraft, right, has been signed up by a major Hollywood agent.

Tinseltown bigwig David Unger, who has steered the careers of Ray Winstone and Mickey Rourke, is impressed by the 29-year-old’s abilities.

He says: “Theo’s acting talent is evident, as seen in his latest video and his recent work with Helena Bonham Carter and Bryan Adams.

“He is causing quite a stir among directors and producers in London and Hollywood. He has the charisma and leading man good looks.”

And on top of that the band’s new album, Surrender, is in the Top 10 in this week’s album chart. Not a bad week to be Theo. Charli XCX was feeling risqué at the launch of her Impulse body spray range.

Wearing a tight pink top Charlie, 23, performed a set for lucky guests at London’s Cuckoo Club – but forgot to wear one vital undergarment.

She told the crowd: “I didn’t wear a bra and my nipples are showing, so my boobs are going to go everywhere.”

Yikes.
