FORMER OASIS WILD MAN TAKES UP HORSE RIDING

Some Might Neigh at the thought but we’ve heard Liam Gallagher has taken up horse riding amid his legal woes. The ex-Oasis rocker climbed into the saddle after hoofing it to northern Italy for a holiday with girlfriend Debbie Gwyther last week. He also told locals in the Lake Maggiore area that he wants to buy a nag for Debbie, 33, once his divorce settlement from Nicole Appleton, 40, is finalised. A source says: “Liam has taken up horse riding and loves it. He finds it really relaxing and it’s a welcome distraction from everything that has been going on.”

Liam, 43, has had a few mares of late and gave evidence in court last month as he seeks a settlement with Nicole. Af ter divorcing last year, the pair h ave be e n hammering out the financial terms.

On his muchneeded break, Liam has also been checking out

property in the north of the country. Our source continues: “Liam fell in love with Italy. Everyone was so welcoming there and he had a great time with Debbie and their friends.

“They stayed in an incredible villa and Liam was thinking of buying a second home so he could divide his time between London and Italy.

“It would be a great place to take his kids on holidays and get away from it all. It all just depends on how it goes with the divorce settlement.” A verdict is expected shortly.

Married in 2008, Liam and Nicole split when Liam fathered a love child with an American journalist in 2013.

Liam has also been preparing to make a musical comeback, having apparently recruited Lee Mavers, former frontman with 1990 one-hit wonders The La’s, to engineer his return to the charts.

Whatever happens, it’s good to see Liam bucking up his ideas.
