John is a new man after split

Singer John Newman is single again after splitting with his tattooed glamour model girlfriend Kayla Cadorna.

It comes after she posted snaps on Twitter of her hanging out poolside with Crystal Palace striker Connor Wickham in Barcelona.

John – who dated Kayla since the start of the year – tells 3am: “That finished two months ago. It was a bit of a shambles in the end.

“I’ve still got my job at the end of the day and that’s all that matters to me. I don’t need anything that’s going to get in the way.”

The Brit award nominee, below, is back today with new album Revolve and is happy to concentrate on music for now. He says: “I think it’s good to be single when you’re promoting your album. I need to focus at the minute.”

Northern lad John, 25, says he still likes “going out for a few pints with my mates”. But he adds: “With that, you often want a wife and kids, too, and to settle down but then it’s nice having a break in between.

“Hopefully a girl will come at the right time.”

We’re sure there will be no shortage of applicants.
