In a world crammed with CCTV cameras and advanced technology tracking our every move and scratch of the head, is it possible to completely disappear and go under the radar for an entire month?
That was the challenge facing 14 Brits who agreed to take part in this ambitious new series. Now as the final episode hits our screens tonight, the answer looks set to be a very resounding “No!”
Over the past six weeks we’ve seen the volunteers go to extreme lengths using ingenious, haphazard and sometimes downright risky tactics to avoid being detected by the dedicated team of “hunters” led by enthusiastic former Head of Counter Terrorism for London Police, Brett Lovegrove.
One by one they’ve been captured until tonight just four remain. Stephen and Martin have so far managed to avoid being tracked down by sticking to remote canal towpaths but are they about to blow their cover when they’re forced to use a cashpoint?
Meanwhile friends Emily and Lauren have parted company, but are still on the run with Lauren hiding out in remote North Wales and Emily putting her trust in some strangers.
However, the net is closing in fast.
