RETEST FOR MOTORISTS
# Having read the article about a man of 86 driving the wrong way on the M1, killing himself and a passenger in a Transit van (Mirror, October 13), I wonder when something will be done about people driving at this age.
It’s not the first time this has happened.
Surely, when you reach 70 you should have a retest every three years. That way there is no responsibility put on doctors to determine the fitness of a driver.
