MERCS DO ALL WORK

Mercedes has announced prices for its new C-Class coupe, which is now available to order. As usual, there are a lot of options available, including systems that do a lot of the thinking for you. The range kicks off with the £30,995 C200 powered by a 184bhp petrol engine. At the other end of the scale is the Mercedes-AMG C63 S with a 510bhp twin-turbo V8 and a price tag of £66,910. In between these chalk-and-cheese cars are two dieselpowered models, the C220 d (with 170bhp) and the C250 d (with 204bhp) plus the petrol C300 with 245bhp.
