JACK BUTLAND admits Joe Hart seems like an ‘immovable object’ as England’s No.1 – but he is not satisfied with being an understudy.
The Stoke keeper is relishing playing regular Premier League football after the exit of Asmir Begovic and he won his second England cap in the 3-0 Euro 2016 qualifying victory over Lithuania – three years after his first senior appearance for the Three Lions.
And Butland, 22, said: “Joe is almost an immovable object. But I want to play. And I am confident if I can keep playing well for Stoke then I will be on that plane to France for the finals.”
