Seedy brothel being run from a flat owned by TV property guru’s boyfriend
PROPERTY guru Kirstie Allsopp loves a home with character but perhaps not the kind of character that ended up in her partner’s rental flat.
We can reveal that it is being used by a Malaysian prostitute named Am, who charges £110 an hour for sex.
And visitors to the period flat can also get a half-hour “massage with happy ending” for £50.
Location, Location, Location star Kirstie’s long- term partner Ben Andersen, 54, was horrified to learn how the property is being used and has organised an urgent “declutter” of the unwanted tenant.
He is a director and co-owner of Holmgold Limited, which owns the ground-floor flat in East London.
Kirstie, who was in need of some updating as she had not been told about the tenant, broke off from filming to tell us: “How boring for Ben to have a rogue tenant.
“I’m sure there will be a happy ending soon.”
Holmgold owns the freehold for the apartment block, where leaseholders on the top three floors have paid up to £875,000 for stylish openplan apartments.
The lower two floors were recently renovated and rented out.
Peeved locals alerted the Mirror to the fact that sheepish men had been knocking on nearby doors at “all times of day and night”, asking for “the Chinese massage parlour”.
We found a recent advert on Gumtree posted by YoyYo, “a friendly attractive Chinese lady”, promising “a relaxing and full body massage”. We called the number on the ad and were texted a link to the Asian Starz Escort Service site, where scantily clad women offered services for up to £900 a night.
Our reporter went to the flat and a woman, who according to the site was Am, 23, offered an hour of sex for £110. Our man made his excuses and left.
The “superb” flat with an “abundance of period charm” had been rented out for £2,000 a month.
When we spoke to Mr Andersen about the brothel, he said: “She is being kicked out, thank God. She hasn’t been there long at all as the flat has just been finished.
“We didn’t tell the police but we told the managing agent.
“It’s horrific. December 13 is the soonest we could get her out.
“We have got to follow the law and it goes with the tenant rather than the landlord. Ideally, we would like to get them out without having to resort to the courts.”
Asked what Kirstie, 44, made of it all, he said: “I’m sure she doesn’t think about it. She doesn’t know.” The couple, who have two children, own an apartment in West London and a country house in Devon.
