Corbyn plans online revolution

JEREMY Corbyn will today set out plans to use the internet to allow voters a say in running the Government.

The Labour leader will promise to set up online meetings where people can have their say on legislation.

Mr Corbyn is due to say in a speech in London that his plans will “democratise the internet” by forcing firms to share software developed with public money.

His proposals come as former Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls accused him of trying to create a “leftist utopian fantasy”.

This was “devoid of connection to the reality of people’s lives”, he said in extracts from his memoirs, Speaking Out.
