Stable-girl killer back in jail for stalking
A MAN who murdered a stable girl 20 years ago has been sent back to jail for stalking another woman after his release.
Stephen Webber was jailed for life in 1996 for the murder of Jessie Hurlstone, 27. Webber bludgeoned her to death with a metal bar at a caravan home in Buckfastleigh, Devon.
It has now emerged he stalked another woman in Cornwall this year after his release from that life sentence.
At Truro magistrates’ court, in Cornwall, Webber, 59, was jailed for 10 weeks and given a restraining order.
