Euro hangover worry for Chris

- BY ANDREW GWILYM

CHRIS COLEMAN fears a Euro 2016 comedown from his Wales team.

The Dragons enjoyed a historic summer as they reached the semi-finals in their first major tournament appearance for 58 years.

Now Wales have their sights on making the 2018 World Cup in Russia, starting their qualification campaign against Moldova in Cardiff on Monday.

Manager Coleman said: “I can understand how players can get down after a tournament like that.

“The situation was so exciting, with all that emotion, and when it finishes you don’t get weaned off it. You miss that buzz, you want to be back there.

“It was so special, but that moment is gone. It is finished and the challenge is for us to create something new.”
