Ranieri’s Sporting double

CHAMPIONS Leicester are trying to strengthen their squad with a double swoop on Sporting Lisbon.

Boss Claudio Ranieri has a Foxes official in Portugal negotiating a deal for Sporting’s £30m-rated striker Islam Slimani. And the Portuguese club’s central midfielder Adrien Silva (above), 27, is open to a move to the Premier League too after starring at Euro 2016 for the tournament winners, and will cost around £21m.
