Eurovision fun contest
Are you a super-fan or will you get nul points?
THE Eurovision Song Contest is back tonight, with all the UK’s hopes of dodging the dreaded “nul points” pinned on former X Factor star Lucie Jones.
Now in its 62nd year, Eurovision is the world’s biggest non-sporting live TV event and many of our alltime favourite singers including Cliff Richard, Lulu and Celine Dion, have taken part over the years.
And there are sure to be enough cheesy song lyrics, bizarre outfits and cringeworthy choreography to keep us entertained – even if Sir Terry Wogan is no longer with us to give his withering verdicts.
This year’s contest is in Ukraine, where Lucie faces competition from, among others, a handsome Italian performing with a gorilla.
So dust off your sequins, pop open the Bucks Fizz and test your expertise with our Great Eurovision Quiz...
