UK HOLS TAKE A DIP
The number of Brits planning a UK holiday has fallen to a five-year low, a survey suggests – despite the weak pound making breaks abroad more expensive.
Just 55% will take a “staycation”, the poll of 3,000 people by budget hotel chain Travelodge found.
The average amount they expect to spent on their UK holiday also tumbled from £729 in 2016 to £599 this year.
