We ALL believe in Jose’s blueprint for success says star Lukaku

ROMELU LUKAKU has revealed Jose Mourinho has a masterplan for Manchester United – and his stars are ready to follow it to the letter to win trophies.

The £75million striker has been bowled over by the winning mentality in United’s dressing room after Mourinho won three cups last season to add to an already rich history of silverware.

And Lukaku (right) reckons he couldn’t be in a better place to land the glory he craves with Mourinho obsessed with winning.

After arriving in Washington, DC, where United face their final US tour game against Barcelona tomorrow, Lukaku said: “The manager has a masterplan and we are following his plan.

“For me it’s all about winning. Now I’m at a club where winning is the most important thing.

“It’s something inside of me. I want to help my teammates deliver wins game in, game out.

“That’s what I came here for. Manchester United, for me, equals trophies. The biggest club in the world equals trophies.

“Growing up, I’ve seen United win the league title every year, almost! And you want to be a part of that history.

“It’s drilled into your head when you do training sessions with the players, you don’t want to be on the losing side. That is something that I wanted to feel. “I wanted to feel that pressure, that hunger – to be here now. “I’m grateful to be part of the biggest club in the world, but there is a lot of work to be done, and I know I need to work much harder than I have until now. “I want to do it because I want the club to reach bigger heights, want the players to win a lot of trophies and want to create history here.” Lukaku, who scored 25 Premier League goals for Everton last season and has already scored twice in America for United, reckons he is still only half the player he wants to be.
