GARY Lineker makes sure he scores top spot on the housewarming guest list by joining Danielle Bux on a property viewing.
The Match of the Day host met up with his heavily pregnant ex-wife in Los Angeles on her search for the perfect pad to start family life with her new man Nate Greenwald and their baby, due later this summer. The pair, who remain close despite splitting 18 months ago, looked relaxed laughing and joking during the visit.
At one point Danielle, 38, stroked her chin as she took it all in while Gary, 56, gazed at the surroundings – perhaps wondering if he would bag the biggest guest room.
A source said: “They remain good friends. Danielle is thinking about moving house and wanted Gary’s opinion.”
Clutching the property details, Danielle, showing off her bump in a black kaftan, chatted to the estate agent on the porch, before heading off to enjoy the sunshine. But if Gary’s grin was anything to go by, the agent may well have netted himself a sale.
Earlier this week, friends of Welsh actress Danielle told the Mirror the pair are “almost like family” but insisted she is “still 100% with” US lawyer Nate. She recently posted on Instagram it was “time to pop” as she had her baby shower in the US, where she announced she was having a girl. She relocated to LA after splitting from Gary in 2015, though the couple kept their separation a secret for a year. The pair, who were married seven years, call each other “besties”.
Just a fortnight after their divorce was finalised, they were pictured having a cosy dinner in Beverly Hills.
The pair reportedly split due to Danielle’s desire for a bigger family and Gary’s reluctance to have more children. But he insisted they “remain very close and the greatest of friends”.
