Cherries’ Gray bid is rejected
BOURNEMOUTH have had an offer worth £20million for Demarai Gray turned down by Leicester.
The England Under-21 winger is known to be disillusioned at the King Power and eager for more game time – but Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare has insisted he will stay.
However, with no club willing to match Leicester’s £50m valuation of Riyad Mahrez, Gray looks set to start a new season as he did the last.
Tottenham have followed Gray’s situation, but are said to be unwilling to match the Foxes’ valuation of the 21-year-old at around £25m.
