Leaving it to others

There’s been plenty going on at the Labour Party Conference this week... a million hours of hot air spewed, several thousand pints of beer sunk, and hundreds of secrets whispered in quiet corners.

But only a few minutes could be found to discuss Brexit – the biggest topic in Britain for several generations.

Jeremy Corbyn may understandably have wanted to avoid a bust-up at this conference.

But the latest buzzword we’re hearing is that Labour are the ‘grown-ups’ on Brexit.

Surely running away from a difficult conversation couldn’t be more childlike.
