DRAMA
STUNT RIDER Danny MacAskill BBC2, 9pm
FROM the moment we’re born, we’re constantly learning at an extraordinary rate. It begins with coordination, then figuring out how to walk and talk.
ITV, 9pm
Responsible for sleepless nights across Britain, this gripping drama took an even more chilling turn last week as we saw Andrew (Ioan Gruffudd) commit rape again.
In terrifying scenes, he broke into the home of detective Vanessa (Shelley Conn) where she had drunk a juice spiked with date rape drug GHB, and assaulted her while she was out cold. When she woke, the pregnant cop was bleeding but had no idea why. As this episode begins, you’ll want to know, can she recall what happened to her? And if she goes to hospital to check on the baby, will there be any evidence of the rape?
Laura (Joanne Froggatt) is with Tom (Warren Brown) plotting to plant GHB in Andrew’s work locker, when she notices something strange in Tom’s car. But Laura is after justice. “I want him to suffer,” she says.
Ultimately she resorts to dangerous methods to force Andrew’s confession, and it all builds to a scary ending that will leave you gasping for next week’s finale.
