GUARDIOLA BELIEVES HE HAS L OF A TEAM

- BY JOHN WRAGG

PEP GUARDIOLA says his Unbeatables have still got L plates on.

Manchester City are the only unbeaten team in England, but the boss says we ain’t seen nothing yet.

He is warning the Premier League that although City sit five points clear at the top they will get better.

“I have said to Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling they still have a big, big gap to improve,” said Guardiola.

“Sane is a guy with a special talent. He scored a fantastic goal. Raheem has another goal, but I would like to tell them to be calm. They can still do better.” City have reeled off eight successive league wins, notching 35 goals this season, taken 28 points out of 30 and haven’t lost for 21 games in all competitions – a club record.

Next up are Napoli on Wednesday where City can clinch Champions League qualification followed by the old Invincibles themselves, Arsenal, at the Etihad on Sunday.

“Sane can get better by doing the simple things. I don’t ask him to dribble, just do it simply. Sterling too,” says Guardiola.

“I enjoy watching my team because I want more from them.

“We have won a lot of games in the last two months in a good way, in an attractive way, scoring a lot of goals. But we can be better.”
