No deal ‘risks 75,000 jobs’
THE Bank of England believes up to 75,000 finance jobs could go without a Brexit trade deal.
The figure was in a study last year by consultants Oliver Wyman. But now it has emerged the BoE privately thinks the figure is a “reasonable scenario”.
Lib Dem leader Sir Vince Cable said: “A no deal would be hopeless for our financial services industry.”
