British DJ Pete Farmer, 45, who was locked up for two years in the men’s section of Al-Qanater jail, said: “My heart bleeds for her.”

He said 30 inmates were crammed into a 12-bunk cell and ORDEAL Pete Farmer PRIMITIVE Shower at Al-Qanater added: “Disease is rife, there are cockroaches, lice and bedbugs.

“I recall seeing people beaten and burned on their private parts with cattle prods. It’s horrendous.”

Mr Farmer, jailed after mistakenly picking up a bag like his own, got out in November but said: “No one deserves that sort of punishment.”
