ANGER The £3.50 shorts PRIMARK has been blasted for selling tiny “hotpants” for babies.

But the store said they were part of a rogue batch with an error in the way the denim was turned up and had been removed.

A shopper shocked to see the £3.50 shorts said people viewing a picture she posted branded the items “sick”.

The unnamed woman, 23, saw the pants for tots up to three months in Broadmead, Bristol.

She called for a ban and said: “These tiny hotpants are purposely sexualising babies, that is disgusting.”

A Primark spokesman said: “This assertion is simply untrue.”

The shorts were “designed to be age appropriate and comfortable for use with nappies”. SNACKS A child tucks in

ENGLAND cricket star Ben Stokes is set to appear in court accused of affray over a fracas outside a nightclub.

The Durham all-rounder has been charged with two other men, Ryan Ali, 28, and Ryan Hale, 26.

It follows an incident in September where a 27-year-old man suffered a broken eye socket.

Yesterday Stokes, 26, released a statement saying he was keen to share his version of events.

He said: “I gave my full and detailed account of my actions to the police on day one and have cooperated at each step of the police inquiry.

“I am keen to have an opportunity to clear my name but, on advice, the appropriate time to do this is when the case comes to trial.

well as Ryan Ali and Ryan Hale, at least means that my account of what happened that night can come out in court and be made public. Until then, my focus is very much on cricket.”

Police sent their findings on the incident in Clifton Triangle, Bristol, to the Crown Prosecution Service in November and further evidence was submitted last month.

The CPS said: “Following a review of all the available evidence, the CPS has authorised the police to charge three men with affray.

“Ben Stokes, 26, Ryan Ali, 28, and Ryan Hale, 26, are all due to appear before Bristol magistrates court on a date to be fixed.”

Stokes missed the Ashes series against Australia after being suspended but has played domestic matches in New Zealand.
