A sentence I never thought I’d type: the drag queen on Celebrity Big Brother has restored my faith in humans.

On a show where participants are disappointing at best, deplorable at worst, Courtney Act/Shane Jenek has revealed himself to be something we’ve never seen on reality TV before – admirable. He’s well informed, thoughtful, witty, intelligent and deep. Winning CBB is the very least of what he’s capable of.

Going down... Pluck face You know who is super shallow and superficial? Chickens. A new study has shown that when it comes to humans, they prefer the physically attractive ones. That’s why you never hear stories about chickens trying to get to know people – they don’t bother, because they’re all about looks. Foul.
