ISIS fan spoke ‘about killing Queen & PM’
A MAN who tried to join Islamic State spoke about killing David Cameron and the Queen with a fellow extremist, a court heard.
Aweys Shikhey, 38, also allegedly discussed an AK-47 strike on Tottenham Hotspur fans at White Hart Lane while living in the North London area.
The Dutch national from Somalia, was held in May at Stansted Airport with a one-way ticket to Bosnia. He got a £10,000 loan from Barclays for his travel.
Barnaby Jameson, prosecuting, said a 2016 message to Shikhey from a contact in Kenya said: “May God bestow you in killing David Cameron and the old woman Elizabeth.”
Delivery driver Shikhey, of no fixed address, denies preparing terror acts. The Old Bailey trial continues.
