CJ must rise to new challenge
BRITISH champion CJ Ujah has been challenged to deliver at the World Indoors in Birmingham next week.
Ujah, 23, was part of Britain’s gold medal-winning sprint relay team at last summer’s World Championships, and retained his British 60m indoor title at the weekend. But, on Saturday week, he faces new world-record holder Christian Coleman.
“CJ knows he has the talent,” said GB boss Neil Black. “But also knows he hasn’t demonstrated it in a world final. He’s got the equipment. He has just got to come and do it on the day.”
