Paramedic in stab trauma
A PARAMEDIC was horrified when an unconscious man woke up in an ambulance – and stabbed her repeatedly with a pen.
Amanda Beanes, 39, of Bury, Greater Manchester, described the attack as the worst in her 20-year career, but said: “I feel determined to get back to a job I love.”
Manchester and Salford magistrates court heard she suffered arm and body injuries and a death threat.
Paulius Zacharovas, 30, who admitted the attack in Manchester city centre, was jailed for eight months.
