Breakfast spat with Dan ‘playful banter’
PIERS spoke of his rivalry with the BBC’s Dan Walker as he mocked him again on Twitter yesterday.
Piers gleefully shared a pic showing how the Beeb had misnamed Dan on air but Dan replied by pointing out that ITV’s ratings were better without his rival.
Piers said: “I like Dan, it’s playful banter. But you can tell by how he reacts and how often he reacts that he doesn’t enjoy my fishing expeditions. I put the odd rod out, put a few pieces of bait on and bang.”
