ENTERTAINMENT giants Jim Bowen and Sir Ken Dodd may be gone, but their catchphrases will surely never be forgotten.

Knotty Ash’s most famous son, Ken, who died on Sunday, aged 90, kept his fans, well, in knots, brandishing his tickling stick and joking: “How tickled I am!”

Jim was “super, smashing, great!” until he died on Wednesday, aged 80. As Bullseye host, he told us: “You can’t beat a bit of Bully!”

We all love a good catchphrase, and we have found 50 of the best – but do you know who said what? 1. “I wanna tell you a story.” 2. “Just like that.” 3. “What a gay day.” 4. “Nick Nick.” 5. “To me, to you.” 6. “Here’s a funny thing.” 7. “Lorra lorra laughs.” 8. “Hello playmates.” 9. “Am I bovverd?” 10. “Yeah but no but!” 11. “Don’t mention the war.” 12. “It’s goodnight from me, and it’s goodnight from him.” 13. “D’oh!” 14. “Lovely jubbly!” 15. “Sweetie, Darling.” 16. “Boom boom.” 17. “No, no, no, no.” 18. “You dirty old man.” 19. “I don’t believe it.” 20. “We’ll all be murdered in our beds.” 21. “Nice to see you, to see you nice.” 22. “Hello Honky Tonk.” 23. “Loadsamoney!” 24. “That’s another nice mess you’ve gotten me into.” 25. “Naff off!” 26. “We were on a break.” 27. “It’s all done in the best possible taste.” 28. “I’m free!” 29. “Oh Matron!” 30. “I shall say this only once…” 31. “This is a local shop” 32. “Ooh Betty!” DAFT Basil Brush & Vicky Pollard (Matt Lucas) 33. “I have a cunning plan.” 34. “Suits you sir!” 35. “My arse!” 36. “You stupid boy.” 37. “A real bobby dazzler.” 38. “Silly old moo.” 39. “Bernie, the bolt!” 40. “There’s only one way to find out… fight!” 41. “I pity the fool.” 42. “Oh my god, they killed Kenny!” 43. “Is it because I is black?” 44. “No likey, no lighty.” 45. “You’re ‘avin a larf.” 46. “Smoke me a kipper, I’ll be back for breakfast.” 47. “You’ll like it, not a lot… but you’ll like it.” 48. “That’s you, that is.” 49. “What ho.” 50. “You rang?”
