VAR fears for Prem
PREMIER LEAGUE clubs will be asked to vote on VAR next month with some ready to delay its introduction by a year.
Mirror Sport understands there is major concern from clubs at both ends of the Premier League that English football is not ready for the controversial video technology following a turbulent trial period in the FA Cup and League Cup.
The clubs will be presented with two options at the crunch meeting on Friday April 13 – to approve VAR’s immediate use in the Premier League next season, or to put it off until 2019/20 pending more testing.
