THE woman who shot three people at YouTube’s headquarters before killing herself was furious with the firm for its “dictatorial” policies.

Nasim Aghdam injured a man and two women with a handgun when she stormed the video-sharing site’s offices in San Bruno, California.

The attack came after her dad claimed he had warned police his daughter hated YouTube, and she might be headed to its headquarters.

Authorities are investigating a video that shows Aghdam, a self-described animal-rights activist and “vegan bodybuilder”, accusing the company of restricting her videos and reducing her income from the site.

The 39-year-old was a prolific YouTuber who had ranted online against the firm’s new policies and accused them of censoring her videos.

She is listed as having four channels – one in Farsi, one in Turkish, one in English and one devoted to hand art.

It also lists an Instagram page that focuses on vegan life.

ANGRY She blamed firm for loss of income Her grievances against YouTube appear to be centred upon censorship and revenue from her posts. In a video posted in January 2017, she said her YouTube channel, which had more than 5,000 subscribers, started getting fewer views and less income after the company “filtered” her videos. She posted: “There is no equal growth opportunity on YouTube or any other video sharing site, your channel will grow if they want [it] to!!!!! “YouTube filtered my channels to keep them from getting views.” Mr Aghdam said he reported his daughter missing from San Diego on Monday morning after she went two days without answering her phone. Officers contacted him at 2am on Tuesday to say they had found her sleeping in her car and everything was “in control”. But he told them she had spoken of her hatred of YouTube in recent weeks, adding the firm had “stopped everything and now she has no income”. Police said Aghdam visited a gun range before the attack. SCENE Police at YouTube HQ POLICE have been given until Tuesday to quiz a dad and son on suspicion of planning a terror attack.

Armed officers arrested the men, aged 21 and 52, in raids at their homes in Dewsbury, West Yorks.

It is thought detectives were trying to foil a leisure complex attack.
