WALES’ youngest-ever Commonwealth Games athlete made a winning start yesterday.
Anna Hursey (left) is just 11 years old but teamed up with Charlotte Carey to clinch a 3-2 doubles victory over India in table tennis.
Wales went on to lose the best-of-five match 3-1. Hursey, who started playing the sport when just five, said: “My dream is to win a gold medal at the Olympic Games.”
