Tory is sorry for hacking Harman site
HARRIET Harman has accepted an apology from a leading Tory MP who hacked into her website.
Kemi Badenoch, 38, admitted to the “prank” despite it being a criminal offence punishable by up to two years in jail.
The MP for Saffron Walden, Essex, who has been tipped as a future PM, fessed up after being asked about the “naughtiest” thing she had ever done.
Ms Harman said: “Kemi Badenoch has written to me apologising. I have accepted her apology.”
Ms Badenoch has said of accessing the Labour MP’s site: “I changed all the stuff in there to say nice things about the Tories.”
A Conservative Party source said it was a case of “youthful exuberance”.
