BRAKE THE BANK
This beauty is the Mercedes-AMG GT S Roadster, the new flagship open-topped model in the GT line-up. Like all super-hot Mercs, it uses the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine (also used by Aston Martin) which in the S Roadster produces 522bhp – or 46bhp more than it does in the standard model.
The 192mph machine costs from £126,730 but, as with most Mercedes cars (and luxury cars in general), you can send the price into the stratosphere by adding options. Ceramic brakes, for example, cost an extra £5,995. That’s almost the price of a new Dacia Sandero!
