Poulter ‘rubbish for 15 years’
IAN POULTER has a “love-hate” relationship with Wentworth because he always plays “rubbish” at the BMW PGA.
In 14 appearances since 2000, Poulter, 42, has missed eight cuts and had only one top-10 finish.
“I’m not sure I want to sit down and look at 15 years of rubbish golf, just before I’m about to go and play,” said the world No.28 (below). “I have a love-hate for this place. I love it as a venue and for the fans, but I don’t love my results.” Paul Casey will be on painkillers in his first event since quitting the Players Championship with a back injury.
