- BY ALISON MUTLER

FORMER tennis star Ilie Nastase has been arrested twice in six hours.

The ex-world No1, nicknamed Nasty for his behaviour, was first held on suspicion of drink-driving and later for running a red light on a scooter.

Early yesterday, police in Bucharest, Romania, had to block the 71-year-old’s car to arrest him.

He refused a breath test and was tested the station.

Chief traffic officer Victor Gilceava said he had a level of 0.55mg of alcohol per litre and could face five years in prison.

Nastase’s licence was suspended and he was freed. But he was later pulled over on the scooter.

He was fined 1,000 lei (£190) but still faces charges of drink-driving and refusing a breath test.
