ENERGY prices could soar by up to £400 for 500,000 homes in coming weeks.
A uSwitch study found 27 suppliers have 95 fixed deals expiring this summer
But hikes can be avoided by finding a better deal rather than rolling on to a standard variable tariff.
Seven million customers have also been hit by Big Six price rises this year.
